Taken at Bryce Canyon National ParkI am a native Texan, born in East Texas and raised near the surf and sand in Corpus Christi.  After graduating from Texas A&M in 1998 with a BA in Psychology (yes, that makes me an Aggie), I spent two years in Moscow, Russia working for an international venture.  During my stay in Moscow, I married my college sweetheart, Rob (also an Aggie).

When it was time to leave, we moved to Dallas, TX and I attended Dallas Theological Seminary receiving my Masters in Counseling 2002.  After graduation I began working as a counselor to the student body at DTS and started my private practice with LifeWorks Counseling.  While at Lifeworks I also worked as a counselor serving the students at University of Dallas.

In September 2004 Rob and I relocated to Beijing, China for another adventure.  For the next three years I worked with expatriots in Beijing including students at Beijing International School and International School of Beijing. September 2007 we returned home and landed in San Antonio, TX.  We have one daughter, Eva, who breathes life into us daily.

In addition to my practice, I am a LPC Supervisor.

What makes me tick?  traveling anywhere, college football and basketball, eating really good food, spending time with my family, and good conversations, which is why I love my job.
